MEDICAL CAMPS:

Masses in economically depressed areas in developing nations can barely afford a square meal each day. When basic needs such as food are not even met, health care needs for their families are not even on their minds. Ironically, while they cannot afford health care, they are the ones who need affordable basic health care the most. Local hospitals and clinics are ill-equipped to supply quality health care and medicines.

Mother Foundation Charitable Trust has health care support programs in place to assist the poor who otherwise would go untreated causing loss of family income, what little they have, and even death.

Mother Foundation Charitable Trust assistance programs include:
Medical Assistance?
Medical Camps?
Preventive Health Care Education?

Organize and support health care camps in small towns and villages to benefit the poor. In rural areas, there are often no facilities available for basic health care needs. The few that are there are under-staffed and mismanaged.

Hence, poor families suffer, particularly women and children because of the lack of female doctors in remote locations.

Mother Foundation Charitable Trust sponsors health camps in remote locations and arranges for medical teams, medical supplies and medicines to benefit the poor.

The under-privileged sector of the Society like Adivasi Areas, Rural / Urban Areas, Slum Areas, has no means of medical assistance when they fall sick and in order to support them, organizes periodical medical camps in selected areas Adivasi, Rural and Slum areas of the interior villages in Panvel Taluka, Bhiwandi Taluka, hutment areas in Navi Mumbai, Pathardi Taluka and other locations where there are no easy access to medical assistance. The Medical Camps are well equipped with experienced and caring Doctors of repute. Medicines, syrups and tonics are distributed and injections are also administered free of cost. The free medical support includes counseling, and pathological tests. The Annual camps organized by the Mission come to 12 to 14 of such Medical Camps.

The Mission renders service to the Middles class families residing in Housing Societies by organizing medical camps in the Society premises and this includes free medical advice and bone density check up for treating acute Arthritis.

This help is mainly done for economically backward section only.
