About the President

Prabhudas Kamlakar Kamble, hails from Village Padali, Taluka: Pathardi, Dist: Ahmednagar from a reputed family actively engaged in Social work and charity. After finishing his High School education, he came to Mumbai in 1983, looking for a job. Through hard work and untiring efforts, he became a reputed electrical contractor and also secured a PWD Government Licence. Today, he is a successful electrical contractor in the private Sector.

Right from his Childhood days in his native place, Mr. Prabhudas Kamble had an inherent attitude to help the poor and socially neglected people. When he came to Mumbai and witnessed the sufferings of the poor, his thirst to serve them only increased. He met with a serious accident in 1998 and had a miraculous and providential escape, even though this resulted in partial physical handicap. But by the God Grace the accident did not deter him but only gave him strength and ambition to help the poor. He began his work with helping the sick in the hospitals, giving food to the poor, Adivasi people, helping the physically handicapped and the poor children for their school fees, books and uniform.

In 2000, he established a Charitable Trust under the name and style of MOTHER FOUNDATION CHARITABLE TRUST of which he is the Founder President. The Trust runned by members and took this mission in a large scale and for the past ten years has been successful in the distribution of Books, stationery, schoolbags, Uniform and school fees, mid day meals to many children, besides daily meals physically to handicapped persons. His other social activities include organizing medical camps in Rural, Adivasi, Slum areas with distribution of medicines and Campaign of AIDS awareness & AIDS Rallies with HIV Test, CD 4 Test, blood donation camps for Hospitals, education of old people, distribution of specially designed cycles for physically challenged people, distribution of sewing machines to widows and nursing of old and sick people, all at the cost of donations from Trustees and their relatives.

The Trust is now in the process of construction a 100 bed General Hospital at a cost of Rs.24.24 crores, in the rural area of Village Padali, Taluka: Pathardi in Ahmednagar totally for the benefit of children’s and women’s, rural population who are economically weak. As there was no land available, Mr. Kamble donated his personal plot of land of 6 acres to the Trust for this noble cause. Besides the hospital, the Trust is setting up a Project namely, Holy Spirit Ashram.

The total project cost General Hospital with Ayurvedic Hospital cost Rs. 4665/- CR. Gneeral Hospital cost of Rs. 4545/- CR and Ayurvedic Hospital Cost Rs. 120/- CR. And our other projects which will provide roof for Cancer, HIV / AIDS patients, oppressed women including widows, old and sick, street children, physically handicapped including Blind and lepers.

In appreciation of his remarkable social service, the National Civil and Environment Protection International NGO, felicitated on him the Honorary Title of “RASHTRABHUSHAN” in the year 2008. The said Award was granted by Mayor of Navi Mumbai Mrs. Anjani Bhoir in the august presence of Mr. Sanjiv Naik (Ex-Mayor), Mr. Prashant Thakur (President of Panvel Nagar Parishad), Mr.Dada Jagtap (Union Leader) & Shri Vijay Dhamaal (President of National Civil & Enviorment Protection International) amidst grand applaud and appreciation.
